Meet Daniel Reyes
I was 18 years old when I picked up my first set of HVAC tools, working summers alongside my uncle's crew in East Tampa. There was something deeply satisfying about walking into a sweltering house in July and leaving it cool and comfortable for the family inside — knowing you'd made a real, immediate difference in someone's day.
I spent the next decade earning my certifications, mastering every system on the market, and working my way up through some of the largest HVAC companies in the Tampa Bay area. But the bigger those companies got, the more I noticed what was getting lost: the personal touch, the honest conversation with a homeowner, the genuine care for whether the repair actually stuck.
In 2010, at 31 years old, I started Gulf Coast Heating & Air out of a single service van and a whole lot of determination. My wife Rosa and our two kids were behind me every step of the way. Fifteen years later, we've grown into a team of eight — but the mission has never changed: treat every customer like family, do the job right the first time, and never recommend something they don't need.
Tampa Bay gave me everything. Serving this community is my privilege.
